Continuing its fatal nature, COVID-19 has claimed another 8 lives in the state.
This has been informed by Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on his twitter handle today.
Taking to the social media site, he wrote, "Demise of 8 Covid patients~Late Sankor Sharma(58) & Late Madhusmita Baruah(43),S'sagar; Late Maina Das(42), L'pur; Late Giribala Devi(70), Nagaon; Late Prasanta Kumar Borthakur(62) & Late Prabnab Bhiwmick(62),K'rup M; Late Hiranmoy Das (73),K'jhar; Late Dhaneswar Bora(92),Jorhat."
With this, the cumulative death toll in the state rose to 360. The infected tally stands today at 125459.
