A newly-married couple has been recovered hanging from a tree at Sarupeta in Bajali.
The man and wife have been identified Ratan Kalita and Barasha Das, residents of Sarupeta.
Local residents had reported the Sarupeta Police after finding the two bodies in the morning, who suspect that the couple had committed suicide. Locals of the area are in shock following the incident.
