Assam detected 2595 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday.
Out of 35175 tests done in the last 24 hours, Kamrup M reported 553; Lakhimpur-199; Jorhat- 205 and Golaghat- 173. The positivity rate has risen to 7.38%.
The active caseload of the state is 31218 while 123684 recoveries have been registered.
Meanwhile, the death toll of the state stands at 548.
