Assam Minister and AGP president Atul Bora's convoy met with an accident on Thursday evening at around 9 PM near Garamur area in Puranigudam under Nagaon district. The incident took place, when the three vehicles of the convoy collided with a Tempo over the NH-37.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the Tempo, lost control of his vehicle and rammed into the minister's convoy over the highway.
The accident occurred when the Minister was heading towards his home constituency Bokakhat. The locals have seized the Tempo and handed the driver to the police.
