CAB: KMSS’s protest march to Rajvawan

Akhil Gogoi, the advisor of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS)had addressed a press conference regarding Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) onWednesday in Guwahati.

Addressing to the media, Gogoi told KMSS will stage a program named "Rajvawan Chalo" on 22 November.

On the issue of CAB, he told, as soon as the CAB would be implemented in Assam, the political rights will be dismissed from the Assamese local people. No, any Assamese people support the CAB heartily. If somehow, someone supports it, he is not an Assamese. Now 20 Lakh Bangladeshi's are there in Assam. After the implementation of CAB more than 1 cr 70 lakh Bangladeshi's will get the chance to come to Assam easily.

Moreover, he alleged that Ranjit Das is one kind of Badan Barphukon who use to call the Mughals in Ahom kingdom, and now Ranjit Hazarika is following the same. It because, if he doesn't get the votes of the Bangladeshi's, he could not be win in election.

He added, Prafulla Kr. Mahanta should keep his stand against CAB strongly. The both-sided drama of the Congress party is not acceptable. At which point in time, AASU should protest against CAB, at that time they are busy into geet the hearing from Central govt in this regard.

Taking the issue of coal syndicate, he told, although the coal syndicates are closed right now, but from the next 25 November, it will be open again. During these days, money collections have been going on in full swing from the coal depots to manage the police administration.
