Assam on Wednesday reported 713 cases of Covid-19, taking the active count of the state to 6,949. The overall caseload of the state is 5,82,750. The positivity rate is 0.74 per cent.
Further, 779 patients have been discharged, while, 10 deaths were reported.
The new cases were registered from Kamrup Metro (136), Barpeta (41), Golaghat (52), Lakhimpur (48).
Meanwhile, the district wise deaths Dibrugarh (2), Jorhat (2), Kamrup Metro (2), Chirang (1), Golaghat (1), Kamrup Rural (1), and Sonitpur (1).
The recovery rate of the state has touched 97.63 pe rcent with 5,68,916, while the death rate of the state has accelerated to 0.95 per cent with a 5,538 fatlaities.
