Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma took to twitter today to say that he, along with CM, Sarbananda Sonowal, visited IIT Guwahati and Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Guwahati on Friday to review preparations for the inauguration of the hospitals to be set up there. These are the sites where the 800 and 450-bed Covid care hospitals will come up. He said that both the facilities will add to Assam's pandemic management facilities.
He tweeted, "The upcoming 800 & 450-bed #COVID care hospitals at @IITGuwahati & Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Guwahati respectively shall add up to our pandemic management facilities. Visited both sites with HCM Sri @sarbanandsonwal and reviewed preparations for their inauguration, likely soon."
