COVID19: Mizoram records five new cases, tally mounts to 117
Five women have tested positive for coronavirus in Mizoram, pushing the tally to 117, a Health Department official said on Monday.
In a report by PTI stated the five patients had recently returned to the state from Delhi, are from Mamit district, he said. “A total of 682 samples were tested at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) on Sunday and five of them were found positive,” the official said.
The patients are aged between 21 and 23 years and asymptomatic, the report added. Mizoram has now 116 active cases, the official said, adding that 59 patients are females and 57 males.
