In yet another daylight robbery in the city, unidentified miscreants looted Rs. 5 lakh from a Scorpio parked near Christianbasti on Tuesday.
According to reports, the owner of the Scorpio kept the amount inside the vehicle and went for shopping. The owner had withdrawn the money from a bank, informed sources.
The registration number of the vehicle was AS-01-DU-2432.
Miscreants broke the window glass of the car and looted the amount. The owner was not present in the car at the time of the loot. Meanwhile, police reached the spot immediately after the incident and started their investigation.
