Five more persons have been arrested on Monday in connection to the brutal attack on Nilotpal and Abhijeet at Dokmoka in Assam's Karbi Anglong district.
The arrested are Raikom Timung, Mensing Kro, Roben Mech, Bikram Hanse and Protap Kro.
So far 36 have been arrested for killing the duo.
According to the Assam Police, altogether, 71 persons have been arrested from different parts of Assam, with 36 for killing the men and 35 for spreading rumours and hate messages on social media.
