The Railway police on Friday seized 5 kilograms of opium at GuwahatiRailway Station from Rajdhani Express. The opium has been seized while it wasbeing carried to New Delhi.
Police also arrested one drug peddler Sukhbir Singh who was carrying the drugs.
On the other hand, the railway police also seized 14,000 intoxicatedtablets from the station in an operation launched on Friday morning. The policeseized the tablets from one Manipuri youth Roshan Baniya who was arrested bythe police.
Baniya brought the tablets from Dimapur and he was caught at Guwahati Railway Station.
