Excise Dept. Shuts Down Delight Bar

The excise department has launched an operation at Delight Lounge Bar in Chandmari on Friday night and closed down the bar as it has found that the bar was selling liquor illegally. It has been alleged by customers that the bar sold liquor of Arunachal and Meghalaya.

The excise department has made a raid in the bar based on theallegations of the customers.

During the operation made by the police and excise department, hugequantity of international liquor has been seized.

The department further closed down the bar as it has violated therules.
