FIR against Bengali organisations’ leaders

An FIR has been lodged by 'Swaraj Assam' against a number of Bengali organisations' leaders at Dispur police station on Monday.

The All Assam Bengali Youth Students' Federation (AABYSF) called a 24 hours Assam Bandh against the killing of five innocent people on November 3.

Reportedly, during the bandh, a number of Bengali organisations' leaders destructed public properties, created vandalism and humiliated women.

In the FIR, the organisation pleaded to ensure arrest of all the accused at the earliest.

According to the FIR, the 'Bengali Yuba Chatra Federation' leaders Deepak Dey, Nirmal Kanti Sil, Sadou 'Asom Bengali Haikhya Manch' leaders Shantanu Mukherjee, Arun Roy, Sukumar Biswas and 'Bongobashi Samaj' leader Pradip Sen Sarma along with their supporters created havoc and humiliated women.
