People from several Hajo villages staged a protest today in front of Office of the Circle Officer of Hajo over not getting flood relief from the government.
Residents of many villages including Bagta, Bhomarbodi, Hanijadi, Dihini, Japiya and Hirajenik joined the agitation.
They demanded that they either be provided with food or be shot dead.
Cries against Assam government, District Administration and Circle Officer rented the air.
