As per the complaint filed by BJP member Sameera Paikra, Amit Jogi former MLA and EX- Chhattisgarh CM Ajit Jogi's son has been arrested from his home over allegations of cheating.
As per the allegation Amit had submitted false information about his birth place while submitting nomination papers to contest from the Marwahi seat during 2013 State Assembly elections.
BJP member Sameera Paikra accused Amit Jogi that he hadfalsely declared his year and place of birth as 1978 and Sarbehera Gaurelavillage in Chhattisgarh, when in fact, he was born in 1977 in Texas.
42 years old Amit Jogi was arrested from his house inBilaspur and he will be produced before the local court on Tuesday, accordingto police official.
