The employee of Agile Hospital in Guwahati, whose video in inebriated condition went viral has been suspended on Tuesday.
The employee was identified as Gitartha Das – Radiology technician of the hospital.
Agile Hospitals Private Limited Managing director Dr. Arindam Barman said that the management took the matter seriously and 'such misconduct will not be tolerated'.
A Footage, captured on Monday night, purportedly showing an intoxicated admissions clerk attempting to serve patients seeking medical treatment at Agile Hospitals Private Limited in Guwahati.
As per reports, Dipanjal Baruah – a resident of Biswanath Chariali came to the hospital for a CT scan of his father namely Chiteswar Baruah.
"My father was brought to the CT scan room in the hospital. But, an admissions clerk working in the hospital interrupted the scan process while my father was on the machine. He took about 1 hour for the scan. He appears to have difficulty communicating and is unsteady on his feet. His conduct on duty is unacceptable and is condemned," Dipanjal Baruah said.
