Three youths, identified as Afrid Ali, Rajib Ali, and Moinul Haque were arrested by Latasil Police on Saturday in connection to the incineration incident of Thursday night in Guwahati.
Police informed that the three youths were involved in the incineration of a vehicle on Thursday night in Hidayatpur area of Guwahati.
It may be mentioned here that on Thursday night vehicle of advocate SK Narzary, which was parked outside his residence in Guwahati, was set on fire by miscreants at around 2:30 am.
The entire incident was recorded by a CCTV camera in which two miscreants riding a gearless scooter were seen arriving at the scene.
Following this, one of the miscreants walked to the car and hurled a stone towards it.
After that, he was seen throwing a plastic bag containing flammable liquid on the car and setting it on fire.
The arrest on Saturday was made based on the CCTV footage.
