BJP working president JP Nadda met party president Amit Shah in the wee hours of Friday in New Delhi. Nadda earlier met Haryana leaders after BJP has fallen short of seats to form the government in the State.
Nadda was accompanied by Haryana BJP in-charge Anil Jain and party leader BL Santosh to the Union Home Minister’s residence in the national capital.
It may be mentioned here that the saffron party has won 40 seats in the 90-member Haryana assembly and needs the support of at least six MLAs to cross the half-way mark to retain power in the State.
Meanwhile, Haryana Lokhit Party leader and winning candidate from Sirsa seat Gopal Kanda, along with five more MLAs are in touch with BJP.
