The dreaded Hizbul Mujahideen cadre Kamruz Zaman was bought to Hojai on Sunday. The Assam police have been interrogating he militant.
Zaman has made many shocking revelations in the interrogation. He revealed how Youths from Assam and all over India are connected to the militant organisations through social media. He also revealed that many youths have already joined the militant group through social media.
The police also ran an operation at another linkmen Sahidul Islam's house in Udali. The police awaits more revelations.
It may be noted that investigation against Jihadi is still on in the state. Eight extremists have been arrested so far with interrogation on few others under way.
Earlier, On September 13, Uttar Pradesh police arrested one of Assam's most wanted terrorist Kamruz Zaman who had joined the Hizbul Mujaheedin in Jammu and Kashmir.
Following Zaman's arrest, Assam police are carrying out an intense operation in the state to find more links of any operative from the terrorist outfit.
