Indianfreedom activist, social worker Hem Bharali passed away on Wednesday. Padmashreeawardee Bharali was under treatment at a private hospital in Guwahati andbreathed his last today. She was 103 years.
Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal condoled the death of Bharali.
Thelast rites of Hem Bharali will be performed with state honour.
