Kannada Actor Puneeth Rajkumar Dies at 46
Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away Friday noon after suffering a heart attack earlier in the day. He was 46. Puneeth Rajkumar was rushed to the Vikram hospital in Bengaluru even as his condition turned critical.
According to doctors, he was admitted at 11.30 am on Friday. The hospital earlier shared a statement saying that Puneeth was non-responsive when he was brought to the hospital. He complained of chest pain and was taken to a local hospital where he got his ECG done.
Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi expressed grief over his demise. Gogoi in a tweet said, "I'm in Bangalore today and I can sense the pain in the city after the unfortunate passing away of #PuneethRajkumar. May his soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and millions of fans."
