Two police officials at Hamren in Baithalangso, Karbi Anglong have tested COVID-19 positive.
The names of the infected police personnel are Ratul Ali and Bhupen Gogoi, and they were posted in Hamren Police Reserve.
The virus was detected in them by the tests conducted by the Health Department while they were preparing for the Independence Day parade.
As per the latest inputs received, the Health department officials were arranging to move them to the COVID Care Centre at Kheroni for treatment.
