KNP flood | 4 held for hunting deer

It is not just people who have been affected by floods swamping the state- animals too are suffering terribly. Forest officials arrested four persons for allegedly hunting and killing a deer at Kaziranga National Park and seized
chopped flesh of deer.

The arrested were identified as Lohit Bora, Arup Raotia, Hari Singh Rajput and Nirmal Rajput.

While the wild animals of the Kaziranga National Park have all been caught up in the disaster, a section of people couldn't resist their greedy attitude…

Throughout history, humans have wiped out animal populations. Have we learned from our mistakes? It seems not, with creatures from songbird to greater one-horned Rhino and many species now facing extinction by way of the dinner table.
