A delegation of Assam MPs met Ministerfor Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, at his New Delhi office onWednesday.
The delegation apprised Gadkariabout the dilapidated condition of National Highways NH) 15 and 37. NH-15starts from Baihata Chariali to Jamuguri and another part from Jamuguri toGohpur and NH-37 starts from Tinsukia-Jagun.
Gadkari gave the delegation apatient hearing and assured them that he would instruct NHAI to look into thematter and release funds for this purpose within the next three months.
The team comprised of RameshwarTeli, Pallab Lochan Das, Naba Kumar Sarania, Badruddin Ajmal along with RajyaSabha MP and Congress State Chief Ripun Bora.
