The Assam Government on Thursday shuffled its police department by transferring several officials in the rank of SP and entrusting them with new responsibilities.
The Hailakandi Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohneesh Mishra has been transferred and posted as SP, CM's SVC while Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Guwahati Ramandeep Kaur has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (L).
Assistant IGP (R), Guwahati, Ranjan Bhuyan has been transferred and posted as DCP (East), Guwahati while Mihirjyoti Gayan, SP, CM's SVC has been transferred and posted as SP, SB (SOU).
Pabindra Kr Nath, DCP (Administration), Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Hailakandi SP while Assistant IGP (L) Ripul Das has been transferred and posted as DCP (Central), Guwahati.
Guwahati Central DCP Dharmendra Kumar Das has been transferred and posted as IGP (R) while DIGP (Security) Devojyoti Mukherjee has been transferred and posted as DIGP (Border).
