Ministers’ absence from Parliament irks Modi

Angry over the ministers who are not sticking to the roster duty in parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reportedly took serious cognizance.

During the party’s parliamentary party meeting in New Delhi today, PM Modi raised the issue and asked the ministers to remain present in the House.

“There are complaints that ministers remain absent during their roster duties. Prime Minister asked for their names by the evening and said that serious cognizance will be taken,” a BJP MP was quoted as saying by ANI.

It may be mentioned here that several opposition leaders have raised the issue of ministers being absent from the house during the ongoing session of the Parliament.

Meanwhile, PM Modi also asked the BJP MPs to focus on social works rather than only involving in politics.
