Miscreants defaced the signboard of Delhi's iconic Akbar Road on Wednesday and pasted a poster that read 'Maharana Pratap Road' over it.
The police reached the spot and got the poster removed. Miscreant(s) behind the act has not been indentified yet.
The Police have started their investigation; however, no arrests have been made so far.
Many have alleged the incident of vandalism to be an anti-Muslim act. A section of the people has also supported renaming of the road.
