Munna Baruah joined ULFA (I), confirms police

Tinsukia police have confirmed that Munna Baruah, the nephew of United Liberation Front of Asom, Independent (ULFA-I) chief Paresh Baruah, has joined the ban outfit.

“As per our preliminary investigations, we are suspecting that the youth might have joined the faction. Let’s see our investigation is on,” said a police official on Saturday.

As per reports, the young boy has been missing from Digboi IOC. Munna is the youngest son of Paresh Baruah’s elder brother Bimal Baruah. Family members of the boy have lodged FIR regarding the incident at Chabua and Digboi police stations.

It should be noted that the ULFA (I) is slowly rising from the ashes like a phoenix and hapless ordinary Assamese people are looking it up as a hope since all democratic process to stop the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) have failed and opposing forces at the ground level are not trusted by people of Assam.
