The protest against the much-debated Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, continued in Delhi with the All Manipur Students' Union, (AMSU) staging massive protest against it. Besides, Manipur, students from other Northeastern States also took part in the protest.
"The move will make northeast a dumping ground for illegal Bangladeshis. It will deal a blow to the identity of the indigenous people of Assam as well as other States of the region," said a protesting student.
They also demanded the Centre to take firm measures to seal the Indo-Bangladesh border immediately.
