The Gauhati High Court has granted bail to 9 APS, ACS officers. The ACS, APS wear booked for APSC cash for job scam. The bailed ACS APS officers are Sunaina Aideu, Sabira Imran, Sudipta, Sudipta Goswami, Kunal Das, Gitali Doley, Rumi Saikia, Dipak Khanikar, Dilip Kumar Kalita and Badrul Islam.
The nine ACS, APS officers were arrested on 8th Nov 2017. The officers were granted bail on special considerations by the court.
APS Sabbira Imran was assistant commandant at 12th APBn.
It is to be mentioned that the Gauhati High court on August 1 granted interim bail to Bharatiya Janata Party's MP RP Sharma's daughter Pallavi Sharma to allow her to visit her father. RP Sharma had undergone a kidney transplant on July 30. The court had said Pallavi, during her bail period, will be accompanied by a female police officer whose expenses she would have to bear.
