In a bizarre incident, a bride's parents have cancelled the marriage as the bridegroom's name has been excluded from the National Register of Citizens' (NRC) in Silchar.
Theparents of the bride have come to know about the non-inclusion of name of thebridegroom in the NRC after the marriage of his daughter has been fixed. After theincident came to light, the father of the bride denies to conduct the marriageceremony.
Thebridegroom has no other way but to elope with the bride.
Followingthe incident, the bride's father has filed a kidnapping case against DilowarHussain Laskar, the bridegroom.
