One more tested positive for COVID-19 in Assam, total 29

Another positive case of the novel coronavirus or COVID-19 has been reported from Assam, this time from Dhubri district.

This latest patient is also said to have close contact with a positive patient (Markaz linkage). The total number of Covid patients in Assam now stands at 29.

Taking to Twitter earlier in the evening, Sarma wrote, "Alert ~ A person from Dhubri, who was in contact with a positive patient (with Markaz linkage) from the same district, has been confirmed as #COVID19 positive. The total number of #Covid patients in #Assam now stands at 29".
