Assistant professor of Icon Commerce College Papri Banerjee has been granted interim anticipatory bail by the Gauhati High Court. She was arrested for making controversial statements regarding the Pulwama attack.
She was granted interim anticipatory bail by the Gauhati High Court in both the Chandmari and Silchar PS Cases. She has been directed to appear and cooperate before the investigating officer within three days in both the cases.
The lecturer of the Icon Commerce College in Rajgarh has been arrested by the Chandmari Police on February 17 for making objectionable remarks on the martyr of the Pulwama attack on social networking site facebook. After-which, the authority of the Icon Commerce College has suspended her with immediate effect.
