It may be mentioned here that Pankaj Gogoi was an infant when his father expired. After a few years, his mother was diagnosed with a rare condition that causes serious visual impairment. All of these events happened in such quick succession that Pankaj could not even think how from a school going kid he suddenly became the one to manage the household and all its chores.
