India's next-generation racer Akhil Rabindra has been retained by the prestigious Aston Martin Racing (AMR) Driver Academy for the 2020 season.
Rabindra was the only Asian last year to make it to AMR Driver Academy, among 12 elite drivers globally. The racer will undergo a rigorous training with the AMR team in the United Kingdom. Additionally, the best performer will also fetch a junior contract drive in 2021 with Aston Martin Racing team.
In this connection, the excited driver Akhil Rabindra said, "Last year was a very strong year where I went from strength to strength. This year my focus is to build further on last year's success and get the junior contract at the end of the year.
