Reports also suggested that Ajinkya Rahane is expected to lead the Test side. Apart from Kohli, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is also likely to be rested from the entire series.

India will play two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is during the tour, which will begin with the T20Is series from August 3 to 8. It may be mentioned here that two of the T20Is will be played in Florida, USA.
