In view of surging cases of COVID-19, Section 144 has been imposed in Jorhat district from tonight 10 pm through 6am.
This was ordered by the office of Jorhat District Magistrate.
During the time period, assembly of more than five people is prohibited in public areas. Wearing of mask and the use of hand sanitizer have also been made mandatory.
