Police have arrested all accused involved directly or indirectly in the Rupai firing incident, where two were killed in Doomdooma of Tinsukia district.
As per reports, the seven persons arrested also include a woman. They have been identified as Khitish Baruah, Montu Moran, Niranta Baruah, Rupantor Moran, Ramesh Mahanta, Bijoy Verma and Dipali Saikia.
The Police have also seized two pistols, five rounds of ammunition and cell phones.
The firing had occurred on Friday evening.
