Silchar's Lok Sabha MP and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Rajdeep Roy conducted a successful spine-related surgery at the medical college and hospital on Wednesday.
Amid his busy schedule as a politician, Dr. Roy was back in the operation theatres. He tweeted post-surgery, "The very ambience of being in the Operation Theatre with my team act as a filip to me in the midst of hectic political life !"
Dr. Roy operated a L4-5 Discectomy spine case on a middle-aged man. "Operated successfully on a Spine Case ( L4-5 Discectomy, middle aged , Male ) today evening!"
Earlier in April, he conducted a surgery on a fractured leg of a 45-year-old patient.
