A total of 7 suspected citizens were detained at Bokakhat in Golaghat by AASU activists.
According to police, the suspected citizens worked in a building construction.
With the help of Bokakhat regional AASU, police managed to detain them.
This was followed by Police took them in custody and started interrogation.
Reportedly, the accused suspected citizens did not own any valid citizenship documents and this was followed by AASU activist handed them over to Bokakhat Police.
The accused persons identified as Sanuwar Hussain, Saiful Islam, Monuwar Hussain, Billal Hussain, Tahes Ali, Foridul Islam.
They hailed from Goalpara and Dhubri.
