Thai cave boys share traumatic ordeal in press conference

For the first time since their rescue, the twelve boys and their coach, who survived a harrowing experience in a flooded Thai cave, have spoken of their ordeal publicly in a press conference on Wednesday.

The Wild Boars team looked hale and hearty as they were greeted by a packed crowd. They spoke to people about their experiences and answered questions about their days in the flooded cave.

Adun Sam-on, one of the rescued boys told the packed gathering about the moment the British divers appeared and they were found, describing the event to be a "miracle".

The coach of the team, Ekkapol Chantawong described their efforts of escape and survival, which included digging a passageway to drain the water and drinking water from stalactites (a type of rock formation) due to the lack of food.

Doctors have advised the families of the players to avoid letting the boys contact journalists for a minimum period of one month.
