GMCH doctors organise awareness rally on World Kidney Day

Today, March 14 marks World Kidney Day. On this occasion, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) had organised an awareness rally from the GMCH campus at around seven in the morning.

Problems related to the Kidney are seen increasing day by day. With this year's theme – Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere – several doctors of GMCH, who had participated in the rally, has urged people not to take medicines without the consultation and prescription of a doctor.

This event acting as a means to spread awareness, the doctors have said that most of the kidney related diseases are due to taking of any and every medicine.
