In a tragic incident, a male leopard was killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle near 13th mile in Jorabat area late Wednesday.
Sources said the animals died on the spot.
Meanwhile, forest officials reached the accident spot and took away the carcass of the leopard for post-mortem.
