Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections for June stood at Rs, 90, 917 crores at gross levels, the department of revenue said on Wednesday.
However, it is 9% lower than June last year, the revenue department added.
The collections are higher than April and May where GST collection for April was Rs 32,294 crore and Rs 62,009 crore for May.
The total collections of June rounded at Rs 90,917 crore, CGST was Rs 18,980 crore, SGST was Rs 23,970 crore, IGST was Rs 40,302 crore, including Rs 15,709 crore collected on import of goods and Cess was Rs 7,665 crore, including Rs 607 crore collected on import of goods.
GST collections for the first quarter of the year are 41 percent less than the revenue collected during the same quarter last year.
