Along with the rest of the state, Durga Puja has also been celebrated at Northeast's only Fire & Emergency Services Training Centre in North Guwahati with much enthusiasm and fervor.
The festival has been celebrated in the Centre for the officials andjawans of emergency services who have not been able to go to home during thefestive season.
The main attraction of the puja is that the idol is electronic and thevisitors are being attracted by the show of Durga slaughtering the demon.
The officials and jawans have enjoyed the puja and it makes them feelgreat although they are far away from their home and family during the festiveseason.
Meanwhile, people are seen worshipping Maa Durga on the day of Maha Saptami and seek blessings from the Goddess.
