TV actress Shilpa Shinde, popular for her portrayal of 'Angoori' in 'Bhabi ji Ghar par hain' and who later went on to win 'Bigg Boss season 11' in 2017, has joined Congress party on Tuesday in Mumbai.
The actress joins Congress in presence of President of Mumbai Congress Committee Sanjay Nirupam and party leader Charan Singh Sapra.
Shinde made her television debut in 1999 but came to the spotlight for her role in STAR Plus's soap opera Bhabhi. Shinde beat the other three finalists and was declared the winner of Bigg Boss 11 on 14 January 2018.
