The investigation into the untimely death of celebrated singer Zubeen Garg saw a significant development on Thursday as Shekhar Jyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahanta were arrested by Assam Police.
It may be mentioned that both were in Singapore when Garg passed away, and had been under intense questioning by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for six days prior to their arrest.
This latest arrest follows the earlier detention of Shyamkanu Mahanta and Siddharth Sharma, who were already under investigation in connection with the singer’s death.
This is a developing story...
