The COVID-19 pandemic will only get worse if countries across the globe don't strictly adhere to the safety protocols.
This has been warned by WHO on Monday.
A Reuters report quoted WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as saying, "Let me be blunt, too many countries are headed in the wrong direction, the virus remains public enemy number one."
He added, "If basics are not followed, the only way this pandemic is going to go – it is going to get worse and worse and worse."
The Director, through these remarks, might have made a veiled reference to the USA, the country hardest hit by the pandemic.
Despite an alarming scenario hitting the US shores, POTUS has been hell bent on reopening of schools.
The President has also been at loggerheads with WHO, whom he accuses of being biased towards China. He even recently announced his country's pullout from WHO.
