TheAsom Gana Parishad (AGP) will observe its 34th Foundation Day onMonday by showcasing the strength of regional forces.
Onthe occasion of the foundation day, AGP President Atul Bora said that the partywill continue to work on the ideology that led to the birth of his party inGolaghat way back in 1985 saying that the party will live up to theexpectations of the people.
Borafurther stated that even though the party has faced many obstacles and severalpolitical ups and downs, the party is determined to work on the issue ofregionalism.
Moreover,two regional parties Bodoland Peoples' Front (BPF) and Rabha Jatiya AikyaMancha (RJAM) will participate in the event to be held today at Abhayapuri inBongaigaon district.
