ALAAIC to inspect private nursing homes on June 6

The AssamLegislative Assembly Act Implementation Committee (ALAAIC) to take actionagainst private nursing homes that have violated the prescribed norms.

Allegations havebeen reported to the ALAAIC that many nursing homes are charging high fees fromthe patients and also it has violated many laws for which the Assam LegislativeAssembly Act Implementation Committee will take stern action against thenursing homes.

The committeewill inspect the private nursing homes on June 6 from which the allegationshave been reported. "We will inspect the nursing homes from where the allegationshave been reported and if necessary we will cancel the license of those nursinghomes if we find any loopholes," said Chairman of the Committee, Mrinal Saikia.
